Named “the company of the future” by the LA Times, BODYTRAFFIC is a world-class contemporary dance company, known internationally for its LA-grown, contagious vivacity. Founded in 2007, BODYTRAFFIC continues to push boundaries as a company deeply committed to producing acclaimed works by distinctive choreographic voices. The company will perform Micaela Taylor’s Snap, inspired by the ethnically diverse, yet isolating crowds of LA. It urges audiences to “snap out of” social pressures to conform and connect with their individuality as well as with people around them.
The presentation of BODYTRAFFIC is made possible by the New England Foundation for the Arts' National Dance Project, with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
Sponsored by Barclay-Shelton Dance Centre, Matthew & Nicole Cox, and Steve & Leanne Shelton.
